How to Use Toothpaste Tablets

How many empty toothpaste tubes you’ve tossed over the years? Probably a lot. Before we started Refresh, we have used a ton. And most of them end up in landfills, since they’re nearly impossible to recycle. Toothpaste tablets are a simple way to cut down on waste without changing your daily routine. They’re portable, eco-friendly, and super easy to use!

Here’s how:

Step 1: Pop a Tablet

Take one toothpaste tablet and pop it into your mouth — just like you would with a mint!

Step 2: Chew to Activate

Chew the tablet for a few seconds.

Step 3: Brush as Usual

Wet your toothbrush and brush just like you normally would. The tablet foams up to clean your teeth, freshen your breath, and leave your mouth feeling polished.

Step 4: Rinse and Smile

Spit, rinse, and you’re done. A cleaner mouth, with no plastic tube waste left behind.

Why Toothpaste Tablets?

  • Plastic-free toothpaste: No tubes, no caps, no landfill waste.

  • Travel-friendly: TSA-approved and mess-free in your bag.

  • Pre-portioned: No guessing or squeezing — one tablet = one brush.

Toothpaste tablets make brushing simple and sustainable. One small swap, used twice a day, keeps hundreds of plastic tubes out of the landfill. And that’s the kind of change that adds up.
